Live Oak Cemetery at night

Live Oak Cemetery is located in Live Oak about a 1/2 mile west on Pennington Road.  It is open and is very well maintained.  The earliest tombstone dates back to 1858.  Here are some shots of it at night.

 
 
 
 
 

Noyesburg Cemetery

Noyesburg Cemetery is located in the Sutter Buttes off West Butte Road.  Local history states that a woman and her daughter were hung from a tree there accused of being witches.  This has given the site a nickname of "the Witches Graveyard".  There have been numerous accounts of paranormal events occurring here throughout the years.  Here are the some photos of the graveyard during the day.

 

 
 
 

 
 

 

Marysville City Cemetery

Marysville City Cemetery -
In my opinion this cemetery is the first and foremost historic cemetery in the Yuba Sutter area.  It was founded in 1850.
